jewishcampimageTemple Beth Shalom believes strongly in the importance of Jewish camps. The bonding experience of camp not only builds a long-lasting taste and yearning for community, it also creates habits of Jewish practice. In fact, research shows that adults who were campers tend to stay more involved than non-campers in Jewish communities and are more likely to find comfort and to take part in Jewish rituals as they age.

No student should be denied the opportunity to experience a Jewish summer camp due to financial limitations. To help make Jewish summer experiences possible for all students, Temple Beth Shalom offers partial scholarships based on financial need.

The 2017 scholarship application is due on February 28th, 2017 and should be submitted to Kelly Finkel, Director of B'nai Mitzvah Studies (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.).
