Shalomites, a havurah of families with children ages 5 and under, organizes Judaic programming that focuses on the unique needs and schedules of young families.

Our Shalom program Tot Shabbats are open to the community, including non-members of Temple Beth Shalom!

Here's what Shalomites do:

    • a 30-minute Tot Shabbat the first Friday of each month.
    • a musical, mindful and multi sensory Saturday morning program (called Shabbatfulness)
    • holiday activities involving arts and crafts, children's music, and condensed child-lingo liturgy (ie: Chanukah Party, Family Seder)
    • informal events such as Havdallahs, potluck dinners, and play groups that provide opportunities for young Jewish families to get to know one another (see the calendar for quarterly events)
    • and much more!

Temple Beth Shalom is happy to introduce Shabbatfulness,  a musical, meaningful and movement-filled young family celebration on Saturday mornings. Come as you are to pray, play, connect and create. You will leave full of Shabbat light! As a Shalomites program, Shabbatfulness is open to ALL families with children ages 0-5, including families who are not members at Temple Beth Shalom. Located in Room 202/203. Please see the calendar for dates and times.
